AR offers tutoring across 17+ subjects, from foundational math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Common Core) through AP-level courses (Calc AB/BC, Stats, Bio, Chem, Physics, English Lang/Lit, US/World/Euro History) and foreign languages.
When are tutoring sessions available?
Our Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano offices are open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week. We also offer Zoom sessions for students who can’t make it in person.
How are AR tutors different from a typical private tutor?
AR tutors are hand-picked subject specialists. We separate English/Reading specialists from Math/Science specialists so students get real experts in every area, not a generalist juggling subjects.
Can I get help with a specific upcoming test or project?
Yes. Tutoring is fully customized to what the student needs right now — chapter test, midterm, essay, or building foundational skills. Many AR families use tutoring alongside SAT/ACT prep.
